Dunkirk : Reality behind every war
As a Christopher Nolan's movie it is totally difficult to understand because movie has three different timelines , all of them connected to each other. That's the beauty of this movie it force you to think beyond your imagination and you should try to connect all three timeline.
First timeline is happens on beach where all the soldiers waiting for ships to go to their home. This timeline is around one week long, on beach around thousands of soldiers standing on beach. Officers of Navy try to evacuates all soldiers from beach on the ship . Suddenly German Airforce attacks on ship and British soldiers abandon their ship.
Here is start of second timeline called sea.Time period of third timeline is One day.Due to high risk for bigger ship British government request their civilians to help for evacuation of British soldiers from Dunkirk. They found one soldier in the middle of the sea who was sitting on the floating aircraft .There is one small boat in sea that helps the soldiers from ship which was destroy by the Tropidoes also Oil from the damaged ship is floating over the sea.
Third timeline is air and time period is one hour. Here three plains of Royal British Airforce attacking on German Airforce . Two of them attack by German and only one British plain left in air. That only British plain fought brilliantly and his bravery help the boats in sea to help their soldiers.
Cinematography and Visual of this movies gives you magnificent view. Sound and Background Music is much appreciable. Kudos to Director Christopher Nolan who made a movie on war in such a authentic way. You can see director never shows any politicians or higher official in any plan making situation only to shows The importance of comman soldiers.The movie is all about real situation happening on ground, sea and air. He try to make it simple without glorifying it. Movie also focus on psychological trauma face by soldiers during war. Because outcome of war is very dangerous for both winning and losing side. The soldiers who fought in war will never live a normal life as they used live it earlier. Its very difficult for soldiers to overcome from that trauma.
